The Chief of the State Inspectorate

Mikhail Adamovich ARESHKO was appointed the Chief of the State Inspectorate on Wildlife protection under the President of the Republic of Belarus by the ordinance of the President of the Republic of Belarus №573, December 1st, 2005.

Mr. Areshko was born July 28th, 1951 in the Village of Chepeli the Soligorsk district of the Minsk region. He graduated from the Belarusian institute of agricultural mechanization in 1973. Mr Areshko occupied different managerial positions of the Ministry of agriculture of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic (BSSR), Gosagroprom BSSR, Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of natural resources and environment protection. He is a member of the chief editorial board of the “Endangered Species Red List of the Republic of Belarus.
